An update on I’m an Engineer
That’s a wrap! Thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s success. Sadly though, I’m an Engineer Ireland will not be running beyond the end of 2024. Unfortunately, Science Foundation Ireland will be ending their funding of I’m an Engineer. This means we’re no longer able to offer the activity in 2025. We’re actively seeking funding to get I’m a Scientist Ireland up and running again. ✨ 2024 round-up The I’m a… projects started in Ireland in 2012, and it’s been another great year. There have been 64 Chats with 39 schools from across Ireland. In these Chats, over 1500 students connected with engineers like you. We saw excellent connections between the students, engineers, and other STEM professionals. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped students see the real-world relevance of their learning.
